US6996849B2 - Batting pad for protecting a batter's hand - Google Patents
When I'm batting, my top hand, at the point of contact with the ball, it's like the handle of the bat is driven into the webbing between my thumb and index finger. It's slightly swollen and tender. It did this all last year, I swing, ball makes contact and bat is driven into the hand painfully. But, this only happens with composites, I can swing my metals all day without a problem. Other than the pain, it causes another problem, I can't get a hit with the composite, it's like my follow through stops the moment I feel that pain.
