BASICS:

Our in-depth 8 week sessions were developed for those students who wish to "begin at the beginning" with  a consistent group of committed individuals .  Whether this is your first yoga class or you've taken many, our program will give you a solid foundation for starting or continuing your yoga practice.  Sessions begin June 30th.

BEYOND BASICS:

For those who have completed YSSC Yoga Basics. Become comfortable and proficient at various yoga routines and begin to develop a home practice. Soon you may find yourself doing yoga every day and loving it! Sessions run 8 weeks.   Sessions begin June 30th.

MYSORE:

Students are taught individually the basic elements for a regular daily practice and, once proficient, practice on their own under the guidance of a qualified teacher. Ongoing registration.

YOGA and WALKING:

Carry your yoga practice through your day. Using the yogic principles of alignment, posture, and breathing, learn how “enlightened walking” can improve every aspect of your life. Sessions run 4 weeks. Starts June 23rd.

YOGA FOR MEN:

In this class, we’ll debunk the myths that yoga is for the flexible, and explore the adage, "blessed with stiffness." Come and join a group of your peers to explore the possibilities. Sessions run 4 weeks. Session starts June 29th.

INTRO TO ASHTANGA:

Ashtanga Yoga, as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India involves synchronizing breath and movement in precisely organized series to create a healthy, strong body and a calm, still mind. Session runs 4 weeks. Session starts July 3rd.

GENTLE PRENATAL YOGA:

Learn how to relax into your transforming body and prepare for your baby through breathing exercises and comfortable, gentle yoga poses. No yoga experience necessary. Teacher: Melissa Crawford. 6 week session. Session starts July 12th.

YOGA FOR MOMS:

Have you been wanting to do yoga, but don't want to leave the kids with a babysitter? Join a group of moms and share the daycare right at our lovely studio. The village green playbround is right outside our door. 6 week session. Session starts July 18th.

SUMMER WORKSHOP:

Yoga Chi-Gong with Ram Smith Come get "recharged" in this two hour workshop featuring the 39 energization exercises developed by Paramahansa Yogananda (author Autobiography of a Yogi). Increase your chi, lower your stress, improve your health! 3 sessions.

Private Yoga:

A private hour to let your yoga practice grow in a friendly and relaxed environment. An individual or group session (1 to 10 people) is $50. Please call 782-9511 for scheduling and more information.

 

Teacher Training:

Our teacher training program runs concurrent with regularly scheduled classes at the Yoga Studio. Weekend workshops are supplemented as students progress.
